What type of phone system does your organisation need?
The are many different options available for small business phone systems today. These include
Hosted VOIP Phone systems - Pros and Cons.
The main benefits that are normally associated with Hosted VOIP telephone systems is the low initial cost of implementation and distributed offices.
This said the overall costs of ownership when calculated over a 3-5 year period often far exceed that of more traditional styles of system, as the opportunity to own the system will never become available.
Although SIP lines will become a the main line technology in the future currently there are major issues with reliability. All clients of IP500.net require a high level of reliability and guaranteed quality to the 5 9's i.e 99.999% reliable as is expected of telephone systems
At IP500 we currently do not promote these systems although we are constantly monitoring the network and will revaluate this once we believe these system are able to provide the quality and reliablilty needed.
Hybrid VOIP Phone Systems - Pros and Cons.
The main benefit that are normally associated with Hybrid VOIP Phone Systems is the flexibilty offered. Hybrid VOIP telephone systems provide all the benefits of Digital and Analogue phone systems their applications and reliability whilst future proofing the technology by enabling organisations to implement IP telephony and use SIP or IP lines as and when the organisation requires it and the reliability is guaranteed.
The main issue most organisations have with this type of system is the higher initial start up cost. This can be reduced by using a finance package to spread the cost. By implementing the right applications there can be a very quick return on the investment making the phone system become a very effective asset to the business.
At IP500 we currently promote these phone systems as the most reliable and cost effective way for your organisartion to implement a new telephone system.
Digital Phone Systems - Pros and Cons.
The main benefit that are normally associated with Digital Phone Systems the ability to implement ISDN lines into the system compared to an analogue telephone system with only analogue lines. ISDN2 and ISDN30 lines enable features such as Direct Dial Numbers to be implemented.
The main disadvantage of a Digital Phone System is that they are already becoming out dated technology by not allowing any IP connectivity.
At IP500 we currently only promote these phone systems when an organisation is looking for a refurbished second user telephone system.
Analogue Phone Systems - Pros and Cons.
The main benefit that are normally associated with Analogue Phone Systems is the low initial cost.
At IP500 we do not promote these phone systems as they are out dated technology.
